Sales Engineer

Valk Welding is a leading supplier in the field of industrial robotics and welding technology. We are currently looking for a sales engineer to join our growing business in the Swedish market.

In your role as Sales Engineer you will be responsible for :

  • Selling the full range of Valk Welding products and services in Sweden.
  • Analysing specifications for robot projects and proposing the appropriate installation.
  • Make quotations + follow up to sell robot projects.
  • Follow up on projects sold as an intermediary between the customer and the headquarter in the Netherlands.
  • Give leads on welding wire to the consumables/backoffice manager.
  • Maintain a good relationship with existing customers.
  • Use our CRM system to organize yourself and to share data with the rest of the team.
  • Advise and guide existing customers in their need for support.
  • Represent Valk Welding at trade shows.
  • Follow up invoices in dispute / late payment.

We are looking for candidates who fit the following profile:

Engineering degree (master), with commercial skills

On the other hand, you have:

  • Good knowledge of welding
  • A valid driving licence (B)
  • A good level of technical English
  • Relevant work experience
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good contact with customers and colleagues
  • Resident in Sweden (preferably below the Vänern lake)

Where will you work?

As a Sales Engineer, you will mainly work on projects in Sweden, with occasional visits to the headquarters in the Netherlands or our subsidiary company in Denmark for customer visits and machine acceptance.
