TRAINING CENTRE SIW29_004

Although operating and programming a robot has become very easy, both beginners and advanced robot users need (extra) training.

In its Technical and Training Centre in Alblasserdam, Valk Welding therefore offers a wide choice of robot and software trainings. More information about our courses can be found in the trainingbrochure.

Basic training on-line programming
The course is meant to get acquainted with the robot and consists of a general introduction to (the operation of) the robot. The trainee will learn to programme the robot step-by-step (via the teach box), how to check this programme and then how to apply it. At the same time, attention is paid to simple maintenance works. Course duration: 3 days.

Basic training off-line programming
The course is meant to get acquainted with the off-line programming package DTPS and consists of a general introduction to (the operation of) the software programme. The trainee will learn to programme step-by-step on the PC, how to check this programme and then how to send it to the robot, c.q. how to read the programme from the robot and how to adjust it. Course duration: 3 days.

Operator training
During this course, the operator will learn to work safely with the robot and to solve simple breakdowns that might occur during production. Course duration: 1 day.

Maintenance training
This course is meant for collaborators of the technical service who deal with robots in practice. Elementary technical aspects of the robot are explained and the trainees learn to detect and solve breakdowns. Course duration: 1 day.

Safety and calibration training
The trainee learns to use the Program Protection System (PPS) and available safety devices. This course is meant for robot programmers and technical service collaborators who have to repair (calibrate) the (Panasonic) robot after a collision with the use of the software. Course duration: 1 day.

Optional training
This course is meant for robot programmers who have followed the basic course. The training programmes includes important items regarding the operation of a specific installation. Course duration: depending on the number of subjects to be treated.

Advanced training on-line programming
This course is meant for robot programmers who have followed the basic course and who have since worked regularly with the robot. The knowledge acquired during the basic training is refurbished and, based on the knowledge the robot programmer has now, solutions for frequent problems are elaborated. Course duration: depending on the number of subjects to be treated, normally 1 or 2 days.
