Valk Welding continues growth ambitions by takeover ADK TechniekPrint this page
Despite the negative market mood, Valk Welding provides/expects growth inside and outside Europe this year through takeovers and acquisitions. The first increase through acquisition is now a fact.
Valk Welding has recently taken over all activities and staff of ADK Techniek. ADK Techniek is, since its founding in 1984, specialized in design and construction of special machines for, amongst others, welding and cutting processes, of which a part also with deployment of robots.
Valk Welding sees the specific knowledge, which is present at ADK Technique in the field of process automation with special vending machines, as a valuable addition to its activities.
In the last years, Valk Welding and ADK have already produced some joint projects with customers in the Benelux, which was already the basis for cooperation. With the takeover Valk Welding expands its delivery program with, welding colums, longitudinal welders, rotary welders and dedicated systems in various executions.
Also the staff of ADK Techniek, which is included in the takeover by Valk Welding, are a valuable addition for Valk Welding, because in this way their knowledge in the area of mechanical construction and associated engineering, can be applied "in-house”. As of February 1st , the employees of ADK Technique will join the headquarters of Valk Welding Alblasserdam. The name ADK Technique continues to exist.
Valk Welding has plans for multiple takeovers, with which they will strengthen their market position further, in home and abroad, the coming years.
