- The R-J3iB Mate control unit supports the "KAREL" language and application software, including the standard I/O modules.
- With the FANUC's "sensor interface" communication software option, serial data can be exchanged with other appliances, such as "barcode" readers, vision systems and PC's.
- With the FANUC's "Data Transfer" communication software option, serial data can be exchanged to and from a PC via "Visual Basic".
