Fanuc R-2000iA/165 EW

With integrated cables for optimum up-time spot welding

The R-2000iA/165EW is a high speed/high payload industrial robot with six axes, with maximum reliability, supported by an service extensive network and spare parts.

FANUC adds the cable integrated robot R-2000iA/165EW to the R-2000iA series, world-wide popular as a multifunctional and intelligent robot.

The SYSTEM R-J3iB is the best possibility as controller system for this robot.

The R-2000iA/165EW is the solution for independent spot welding and general assembly, as well as for industrial spot welding applications.

Characteristics
- Cables and hoses for spot welding are integrated into the J3 arm and the wrist.

- Customers can use the robot immediately after connecting the controller. It is not necessary to install, adjust  or maintain an external cable package.

- Integrated cables and hoses have the same life as standard robot inner cables, extending the maintenance period of the cables.

- J1-J3 units are the same as the R-2000iA/165F,
whose reliability has been well confirmed.

(Mechanical)
- Large work envelope with ability to reach overhead and behind.

- Slim profile design

- RV reducers for all axes

- Elimination of counterweight increases available workspace

- Process/application cables routed through the arm

- No motors at wrist

(Control)
- B-size cabinet / Quick change amplifier (< 5 min)

- Fast boot-up time

- Easy connections to a variety of I/O, including distributed I/O networks

(Software)
- Specific tool packages for various applications

Benefits
- Reduce the lead time for completion of the line.

- There are no exposed cables and hoses at the J3 arm to interfere with peripheral equipment.

- Increased reliability of cables and hoses.

- Easier, quicker on-line programming.

- Cable simulation is not necessary, so it is easy to perform accurate offline programming.

- Maintenance cost can be reduced.

- Start-up time can be reduced.

Options
- Variety of internal cables to meet the customer process requirements.
