Workspace
Workspace 5 is a brand independent, off-line robot programming and simulation package. The package supports a large number of well-known robot brands. Valk Welding makes use of this package in combination with its Nachi robots.
Workspace is; just like DTPS an off-line programming and simulation software package. With Workspace you can programme and simulate your robot from the PC, that is off-line. In this way production does not have to be interrupted for for programming, while programming takes place during production, resulting in a considerable performance increase.
The most important difference between DTPS and Workspace is that DTPS is used in combination with Panasonic (welding) robots, (resulting in a seamless co-operation), while Workspace can be used with various robot brands. The most commonly used types of more than 25 robot manufacturers can be found in an extensive database.
